It's no longer news that Tom Cruise indeed went on a rogue mission with his stunts in the action thriller 'Mission Impossible : Rogue of Nation.' A recently released stunt featurette proves that Cruise had to hold his breath for six minutes for the 'Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation' underwater scene. Speaking on the experience, Cruise said “Normally in underwater sequences, people hold their breath for 10 seconds, 15 seconds max.” “So I had to prove to everyone that it was actually safe, and spend time with the safety guys and the safety officers to show them, look, not only is it safe, it’s better that I know how to hold my breath because I’m going to be very relaxed. No one’s going to have to rush in, no one’s going to have to panic.”

In EnuguState needs N32.2bn to pay workers

Gov. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has said that his administration needs more than N32. 2 billion to off-set the arrears of workers’ salaries, gratuities, pensions and subventions. At an enlarged meeting with labour leaders in the state, Ugwuanyi said that the debts were accumulated by previous administrations over the years. He said that the essence of the meeting was to intimate the labour leaders with the efforts to procure the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) bailout funds to off-set part of the debts. He said that it was important that the workers were carried along to determine the best ways to disburse the fund. “The essence of this meeting is for you to know that we have formally applied for the sum of N4.2 billion for the purpose of defraying debts owed workers in the core ministries. “We want you to interface with your colleagues in other states to recommend ways the funds will be managed when it arrives,” he said. 240 Nigerians Missing,64 Dead ,Says NAHCON 0

The National Hajj Commission, has confirmed that Nigerian casualties at the September 24 Muna stampede has risen to 64. Similarly, as many as 240 Nigerian pilgrims are still missing at the time of filing this story. In a telephone interview, Mr Uba Mana, the Public Relations Officer of the Commission, said the injured were receiving prompt medical attention. According to him, a report containing the identities of the victims is on its way to Abuja, in line with the directive from the Presidency to the National Hajj Commission. He said: “As soon as our medical team finishes treating the injured, we will start airlifting them back to Nigeria.”
