Fresh from the streets of great Surulere, Foluwakemi Olonimoyo popularly called "The
Lady
Cross" holds the largest and most sort after karaoke shows in Surulere
House 45 every Sundays and Memento lounge and bar every Mondays and Thursday’,
also her band called DYNAMITE BAND where she happens to be the only
female singer rocks the GREATEST OF ALL TIME SHOW (GOAT) which was held
at the Muson Center in Onikan Lagos sometime in November 2015 where she
worked and performed vocally with the likes of tuface idibia ,faze,Tony
Tetuila,Styl Plus,,Shaydee,Paul play and so on. The Nigerian Afrobeat
Soul/Hiphop songwriter and musician Lady Cross is proud to debut her brand new offering titled "Farabale"
Released via N1 Entertainment and Godmother Inc produced by CINEE, "FARABALE " Is
a fusion of international rythm and afro beat with spicy sound
dancehall ragga, with excellent base line arrangements, complimented by
commanding drum patterns, horn sections and glorious vocal melodies. The
record sees Lady Cross flexing her song-writing dexterity, as she waxes
lyrical about losing yourself in your passion.
In The Lady Cross own words, FABABALE is “about
being patient about something or someone so much that you lose yourself
in it. That thing might be love, friendship, career, never giving up in
patience to achieve the best as they say the patient dog eats the
fattest bone"
Already working on her debut album which is to be released before the end of 2016 Lady Cross says "music is a religion, adore her" in the meantime, stream and enjoy "FARABALE"
