ILE IFE FIESTA AND PEACE CONCERT: Omisore, Obasa, Kwankwaso, Adebutu, Others for Mega Event. Olu Maintain Headlines Fiesta!

The countdown to the biggest event yet in Osun State, ILE IFE FIESTA, which starts with a PEACE CONCERT this year, has definitely taken a bigger dimension as eminent sons of the ancient city have began to identify with the peace event.

The organizers; In-House Entertainment LTD have confirmed that mega superstars including Jaywon, Wale Turner, Minjin, Flex B, Koker, Dotman, MC Stylo, Desh, the legendary Olu Maintain and other celebrities will be shutting down the mega event on Saturday the 6th of May, 2017 at the Palace of the Ooni of Ife.

The Project Director, Ayo George told news men in Ile Ife recently when they paid courtesy visits to prominent sons and daughters of Ile-Ife. "Prominent amongst the personalities attending the event are Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, Senator (Dr.) Iyiola Omisore, SOOKO (Dr.) Kemade Elugbaju, Sir Adebutu Kessington, RT. Honorable Mudashiru Obasa, Speaker, Lagos House of Assembly, Senator Babajide Omoworare and a host of other prominent people. His Imperial Majesty, Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, Ooni of Ife would be the Royal Father and Chief Host for the event.

"The message in all this is that Ile Ife is a land of peace, which cannot afford another ethnic or civil crises. Oonirisa said in his wisdom, everyone usually knows the start of a crises or war, but no one knows how it would end. We enjoin our brothers from every ethnic group to come out to the event and hold hands in unison, because even their kings and leaders have also been invited to this great event". He said.

Recall that The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi also paid a courtesy call on the Oonirisa a few days ago to compliment the Peace talks.

Ayo said further that "the Peace Concert is very timely and it would further bring people together. Music, culture, heritage, arts, everything would be showcased at the concert. One after the other, eminent personalities have started confirming their attendance as they would address the kingdom. We are overwhelmed by the level of moral support so far from Ile Ife residents and citizens. We have a lot of surprises for people attending", he concluded.
